    A touch of the classic hotels with free WiFi and all the modern benefits . Everyone was friendly from the front desk to the restaurants. Reasonably priced. Waking distance to multiple restaurants and historical sights. Spacious lobby and mezzanine for informal gathering. We had 40+ people in our group and they extended the restaurant's closing time to 10 PM. An opportunity you shouldn't miss.

  • Decent stay

    It will work in a pinch. Staff are a pleasure and very helpful. They made sure our needs were taken care of. It is an older hotel so there is good and bad that comes with that. I would stay again if I needed a place.

  • Great Stay - Historic Hotel

    We had a fun girls getaway at The Queensbury Hotel in downtown Glens Falls. Spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent service at the hotel and Fenimore's Pub. Enjoyed the hotel and nearby Adirondack Salt Cave, shopping at The Shirt Factory and more.

  • Rude and Unhelpful front desk staff

    Front desk staff at check-in was rude and very unhelpful (he acted like we were bothering him by showing up). I also forgot my toothbrush, and desk clerk said they did not have any (an amenity I would expect from any decent hotel). What is worse, he acted perturbed that I would even ask. Funny how what seems like a minor annoyance ends up turning what would have been an acceptable stay into an unpleasant experience.

  • BEWARE OF BEDBUGS

    July 5th '19 I checked out of the Queensbury hotel and had three bites on the right side on my stomach. I noticed them right away because they were red and swollen and I kept feeling a little itchy in that area. I thought I had been bitten by a mosquito and it wasn't until I arrived at my next destination that I realized the bites had become even more swollen and itchy and I had several other areas with the same bites (arm/ back/ leg) that these were bedbug bites and must've been in my moto gear. I contacted the hotel since their property was where the bites first occurred and eventually spoke with the manager only for him to deny deny deny. l also reported the issue at the condo rental where I arrived after leaving the hotel and the report came back positive for bedbugs. So i obviously took them with me. The Queensbury hotel had claimed to have done a professional inspection and nothing was found, of course, but I never believed they did any inspection because they would've found the bedbugs. Whichever way they want to spin it, I didn't have this issue before I checked into this hotel and haven't had any issues since returning home. The facts are, three bites turned into 18 bites all over my body within a 24 hour period after checking out of their facility. All of my moto gear, including the helmet and gloves I was wearing, had to be thrown out. I emailed the manager pictures of the bites and informed him of everything that I had lost and nothing; no remediation or customer service since then. Needless to say that I will not be returning to this establishment but I guess that's what they wanted since no one ever contacted me after the initial reply.

    Thank you for the review. As discussed with you over the phone and through numerous emails I am truly sorry you felt that you contracted bed bugs from The Queensbury Hotel, however immediately following your initial report we had both our team and a professional pest control company thoroughly inspect the accommodation and there was not visual or scientific evidence of bed bug activity. As you stated in the above post when you contacted the condo you were visiting they confirmed there was bed bug activity present at their establishment; however I cannot be more clear and honest that for the past 4 years of our company owning and operating the Q we have had zero confirmed cases.

    I would love the opportunity to welcome you back the Queensbury for another visit and hope you reconsider. As stated in my emails as well; if and when that time presents itself please contact me directly and I will ensure you have the true Q experience!
