Matt Brewery, dating back to 1888 as the fourth-most historic family-owned brewery in the U.S. Known also as Saranac Brewery, it survived Prohibition with a temporary shift to soft drinks, including sodas and a well-regarded root beer still bottled today. All-ages tours walk visitors through the brewery's history and beverage artistry.
