Originally named the Multnomah Hotel after a Native American tribe in the area, Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Downtown occupies an entire city block in the heart of Portland's business district. At the time it was built, it was known as the Pacific Northwest's largest hotel and remained Portland's largest hotel until 1961. As the name implies, the landmark hotel primarily offers suite-style accommodations, but boutique-style Guestrooms as well as Executive Rooms are also available.
