As one of the oldest colonial cities in the United States with centuries of legends and lore, it seems as though every nook and cranny of Boston, Massachusetts, is haunted by some form of creeping ghost or ghoul. The Fairmont Copley Plaza, home to its own history of secrets and scandals, is no exception.

The sixth floor in particular has been accused of harboring the most paranormal activity, with guests often complaining of hearing strange noises and activity during all hours of the night. Whispers and bangs coming from empty rooms, as well as unexplained sounds from within a visitor’s own guestroom help earn the Fairmont Copley Plaza its status as a haunted hotel.
