• Discover the amazing institutional history of the Hotel Indigo Atlanta Midtown. Once a luxury apartment complex called “The Carlton Apartment,” the building was home to a fascinating social fraternity known as the “Bell House Boys.” After the Bell House Boys left in 1929, the business rebuilt its reputation as an upscale hotel named the “Carlton-Cox Hotel.”

• Admire the beautifully restored Art Nouveau architecture that still resides on-site. Designed by the architectural firm Pringle and Smith in the mid-1920s, the hotel stands as 12-story brick veneer building complete with limestone and terra-cotta accents. Some of its most iconic features include the marble staircase, the exposed lobby ceiling, and the “C” cartouches that flank the hotel’s sign just above the front entrance.

• Attend a thrilling theatrical performance at the celebrated Fox Theatre. Located just down the road, this iconic venue is among the best places for live entertainment in Atlanta. It is designated today as a U.S. National Historic Landmark.
