Experience the 30 miles of tranquil hiking trails that wind through neighboring West Mountain. Hiking was also given great emphasis from the very onset of Skytop's development. Trails to all Skytop’s scenic areas were laid out and maps were drawn to enable the lodge’s guests to visit “places of quiet beauty and restful charm.”

Venture to hidden waterfalls nearby. Known as the “Niagara of Pennsylvania,” Bushkill Falls features a series of eight stunning waterfalls and hiking trails that offer breathtaking views and photo opportunities. The Delaware Water Gap recreation area near the border of New Jersey boasts the stunning, three-tiered Raymondskill Falls, the tallest (at 150 feet tall) in Pennsylvania.
