Amenities like catering, tables, chairs, pens, pads of paper, and limited A/V make The Algonquin Hotel a convenient venue for business meetings and social gatherings alike.

Event spaces include:

Library

209 sqft (19.4 sqm)

Appointed with Round Table first editions, signed collectibles, vintage magazines, and more, the Library has been used as a dressing room for Broadway stars during premieres and opening nights.

Helen Hayes Boardroom

209 sqft (19.4 sqm)

Named for frequent Algonquin guest Helen Hayes, this executive boardroom pays tribute to the “First Lady of American Theatre.” A creative dynamo, she was also the first person to win the Triple Crown of Acting and the second person to achieve an EGOT (an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony Award).

Round Table Lounge

1,000 sqft (92.9 sqm)

An homage to the Algonquin Round Table of the Roaring 20s, as well as the lively conversations and ideas that came from their daily meetings, this inspired space is perfect for any social event or business meeting in need of an extra jolt of creativity.

Oak Room

1,600 sqft (148,6 sqm)

First a supper club and, later, a cabaret that helped launch the careers of artists like Harry Connick Jr. And Diana Krall, the handsome, wood-paneled walls of the Oak Room certainly have more than a few stories to tell. Today, instead of renowned musical acts, this famous space offers a distinctive setting for formal dinners and other events.
