  • Roam to some of South Carolina’s remaining historical points of interest like the Poinsett Bridge, the most historic bridge in South Carolina, part of the original road connecting Greenville to Asheville since its construction in 1820. And built in 1909, the Campbell’s Covered bridge is the only remaining covered bridge in South Carolina.

  • Visit the Oconee Station State Historic Site. Home to a stone blockhouse used as an outpost by the U.S. military from roughly 1792 to 1799, along with the William Richards House, named for the Irish immigrant who built it as a trading post in 1805.

  • Explore Suber's Corn Mill, built around 1908, which still grinds corn using water power. Visit Hagood Mill which features an 1845 gristmill, two restored log cabins, blacksmith shop, cotton gin, moonshine still and nature trails.
