St. James Hotel celebrates 150 years

Jennifer Olson traveled the country —  Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Atlanta, to name a few — as general manager for BRAVO BRIO Restaurant Group, where she opened new locations across the national chain. 

Eventually, she found her way back to Red Wing, switching careers to take a job at the St. James Hotel, a place she grew up visiting for semiformals and fancier birthday celebrations. 

That wasn’t part of the plan, she said.
