  • Unique Historic Hotel

by ajayhawkfan on 2020-03-30 11:49 am

I have been to Eureka Springs many time however this was the first time I stayed here. The hotel is historic with a great lobby with fireplace. My room was small but clean and a comfortable bed. The bathroom is also same with an old iron tub with a shower curtain around it. The bathroom could use additional shelves.

We had drinks and a good time in the Sky Bar.

I have wanted to stay here from year. I'm glad I did.

  • Best trip destination

Located in the mountains of Arkansas in Eureka Springs, this hotel has a rich and beautiful history that can be seen in every inch of this place down to the rooms doorknobs. Ghost tour is a MUST! Then head to head downtown (5 mins) for some of the best shopping around. The restaurants and bar hopping will keep you plenty busy. While perfect for couples, my daughter and I love visiting as well. Also, dont forget the dinner train! Hope this is informative and helps with your decision..

  • Meh.

There are dogs everywhere. Skylight in our room. Also a mini fridge & coffee. Frame in the room with its' history.

Disliked ? Super slow elevator. The water is either hot or cold. Needs touch up paint in the room in places, including the bathroom.

  • We had a hauntingly good time on Friday the 13th!!!

Ok, we didn't find any ghosts (we did last stay!!!), but the ghost tour and the windy, rainy night certainly didn't disappoint! We did, however, encounter some hauntingly delicious eats in the Crystal Dining Room! We thoroughly enjoyed the Crescent Hotels famous brunch buffet! All set to an eclectic music mix of easy blues and bluegrass: Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, The Dead South, Bill Monroe, The Stanley Brothers, The Allman Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, and others. The beds were comfy, the staff was friendly and helpful, and very clean. We were not disappointed one bit! Folks, this is a relaxing place!

  • Lovely old hotel

The Crescent is a lovely old hotel, full of atmosphere and charm. I particularly enjoyed having a private balcony. My only complaint was of some noisy guests on our floor. The shuttle service was much appreciated and the driver was very helpful and polite. I was a bit disappointed that we were the only party that thought to tip the driver. I would ask guests to do so - he was very busy during our stay.
