  • Amazing experience in this stunning hotel

Amazing experience in this stunning hotel

My husband and I stayed at the Aleph Rome Hotel for 4 nights at the beginning of sept. On arrival we were greeted warmly by staff who congratulated me on my birthday and our wedding anniversary (my husband had emailed them in advance). They upgraded our room and left a special treat in our room too which was so lovely.
The hotel was immaculate and we felt reassured that they had ours safety in mind with sanitizer throughout the hotel and other one way measures in place.
We didn't eat at the hotel but the restaurant looked really nice and we did have a few drinks on the rooftop and the service was impeccable.
We used the rooftop pool and loungers and had this all to ourselves on 2 days.
Throughout the stay all the staff we saw and spoke to were friendly, helpful and made us feel really special.
The hotel is located really close to bus and metro station and only 10 minute walk to the Spanish steps and array of shops and restaurants.
We can't fault this hotel and would definitely return on another visit back to Rome.

  • Our best Hilton experience so far

Our best Hilton experience so far

We've stayed at the Aleph Rome for one week in September and it has been a most satisfying experience. The hotel is located in a comparatively quiet area, a three minute walk from the Barberini metro station, which connects you conveniently to Termini station and the Vatican. Villa Borghese and the Spanish Steps are in walking distance. The hotel building is in good shape, with lots of marble and a nice interior decoration. The Covid19 hygiene standard was pretty high and disinfectant was basically provided everywhere.

As my partner's birthday was coming up, we were upgraded to the Junior suite, which came as a nice surprise upon checkin. Thanks again! The suite 305 (lots of marble:-)) has a separate bed room, living room and bathroom (including shower and bidet). The windows are facing the inner courtyard, which is the quiet side of the building. The sound insulation was more or less ok. With the windows shut you couldn't hear the constant music being played outside during the day. Still, my partner could hear that music starting to play in the hallway during morning hours. I am usually a light sleeper and on 6 out of 7 nights I slept very well. However, during Friday night there was little party going on somewhere outside, which we could still hear even with our windows being shut. This kept me awake rather long that night.

Nonetheless, two things we particularly enjoyed during our stay were the wonderful breakfast which was being served in the ,,1930s" restaurant, and for sure lazing around the nice rooftop pool area. The one thing that finally set our visit apart from all the other Hilton hotels we've stayed in so far, was the high service level of the well-managed hotel staff. I had contacted them prior to our visit in order to arrange a little flower surprise in our room for my partner's birthday. The matter was handled very professionally and discretly, and I've noticed that everyone involved from the team was being kept in the internal email loop. Very well-organized, indeed! Our special thanks go out to Anastasia, Pamela, Reichelle, Giovanni, and to Mario and Valentina, who have spoilt us during breakfast every day as if we were their own bambini. Grazie mille!

I'd like to finish my review with two minor suggestions for further improvement. Firstly, having stayed at the hotel for seven nights and having spent a good deal of that time at the nice pool, the continouus playing of background music all over the hotel has eventually rather irritated us. A bit more quiet time would certainly add to the relaxation factor of the hotel.
Secondly, overall cleanliness could be improved. On two days, our room was cleaned somewhat sloppily. Furthermore we've noticed that the pool area had not always been properly tidied up before opening in the morning, with emptied drinking glasses still around and some drink that had visibly been spilt over one of the sunchairs. Also, we've told reception that the tissue paper dispenser in the (otherwise spotless) gym was blocked, which unfortunately made the disinfection of the equipment impossible. However, nothing was done about it.

Despite those slight glitches we would nevertheless still consider staying at this hotel again and can recommend it to anyone in search of a nice and relaxing hotel in the middle of Rome. Alla prossima!

  • Most fantastic stay, right in the city center

Most fantastic stay, right in the city center

Last week I have spent beautiful three nights at this very special property.
Not only is it located right in the city center, only steps away from Rome's most fascinating sights and shopping areas, but the people working there really make the difference.
Whenever you walk through the hotel you are greeted by big smiles and sincere inquiries about your stay. Everybody goes above and beyond to ensure, that you will leave the Aleph and the eternal city with long lasting memories.
The rooms and the whole hotel is spotless clean, which above all in the current situation made me feel super safe and at home.
Absolute highlight, which you should not miss is the stunning rooftop terrace and pool, with a beautiful view over the city.
Clearly three nights have been way too short and I will make sure to come back to the Aleph as soon as possible! Many thanks to all the team for making my stay such a memorable one!

We stayed at this hotel literally the weekend before the entire country shut down as a result of COVID. What a weekend it was, we had such a good time. The hotel is clean and staff is kind. Breakfast is excellent and the location is brilliantly close to that is important for a successful weekend Rome. Thank you for your good care and I hope you are all in good health.

It is my first time at Curio Collection bu Hilton. I can not find a word to describe the hotel. Perfect. Great. Brand New. So Clean. Everyone is so polite. When doorman opens the door for you, on your first step you will feel something different. Must try to stay there.
