BASIN Glacial Waters debuts at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise has unveiled BASIN Glacial Waters, a state-of-the-art thermal bathing destination set against the backdrop of Banff National Park. Marking the first concept of its kind for Fairmont, BASIN blends ancient traditions of thermotherapy with modern design and luxury, creating what is being described as a redefined wellness experience.

Two decades in the making, the project was brought to life by AD100 designer Matteo Thun, whose minimalist yet striking design ensures the space feels seamlessly embedded in its natural surroundings. The unveiling also completes a C$130 million investment across the historic property, which has included guestroom renovations and an upgrade of the Fairmont Spa.
