In 1914, hotelier Louis Davenport envisioned a hotel in Spokane, Washington that would "so well please our guests that they will be glad they came, sorry to leave, and eager to return." Upon its opening, the towering hotel introduced groundbreaking hospitality innovations, including the first housekeeping cart, an early air-cooling system, and the first ballroom air wall. The Davenport Hotel, Autograph Collection has been stewarding this founding legacy for over a century. Meticulously restored, the historic hotel offers 284 guestrooms, one of Washington State’s highest-rated spas, and four distinctive dining venues. The efforts preserved the remarkable historic interiors, including the 5,000-piece stained-glass ceiling of the Peacock Lounge. Just as it did at the turn of the 20th century, the landmark Davenport Hotel, Autograph Collection welcomes guests for a grand and unforgettable experience.
