The Omni Homestead Resort has been delighting vacationers – including 24 U.S. presidents – for over 250 years. Originally a log cabin hotel built by the Bullitt family in 1766 near the natural mineral springs of the Virginia mountains, The Omni Homestead Resort rose swiftly to renown as a luxurious American retreat. By 1818, former President Thomas Jefferson called the red-brick structure and its surrounds one of best places to vacation in the whole country. In 1943, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt called for a United Nations Conference on Food and Agriculture to be held at the resort, and in 1967 The Omni Homestead Resort hosted the U.S. Women’s Open.

The Omni Homestead Resort, a National Historic Landmark, proudly stewards this distinguished past and the historic character of the Allegheny Mountain destination. The restored bathhouses, iconic Great Hall, and the longstanding traditions woven into daily resort life all provide guests with a chance to experience history firsthand. Sporting a two-acre water park, a world-class spa, and top-ranked golf courses, The Omni Homestead Resort also encourages guests to immerse themselves in adventure and relaxation, no matter the season.
