According to tradition, some of the Inn’s first guests were colonial Yankees who met here in Stockbridge in 1773 to defy King George III, with revolutionary results. Today, The Red Lion Inn continues to provide inspiring, well-equipped meeting spaces, as well as exceptional service and hospitality.
The inn can accommodate all types of meetings, including corporate groups, leadership retreats, team building, board meetings, and annual meetings. With eight total meeting and banquet rooms, with 4,800 sq. ft., the inn accommodate 2 to 175 guests (reception style). Guests have found that the historic setting in the Berkshires provides an authentic, creative environment that fosters innovation and productivity, and under 3 hours’ drive from New York and Boston!

The Red Lion Inn is the perfect site for a wedding to remember. The many distinctive meeting and banquet venues are well-suited to smaller, more intimate weddings. The Stafford House is one of the most requested sites, with its luxurious master suite and lovely staircase.
