Known for their creativity, the kitchens at the hotel are passionate about using and supporting local suppliers and ingredients. Continuing its rich agricultural history, Uggdal's farming and local produce remain an integral part of the region's culture and economy. In addition to using regional produce, Haaheim Gaard has gardens of their own, harvesting seasonal vegetables, fruits, and herbs for the kitchen. The farm is also licensed to hunt for deer, often including venison in their menus during the high season.
