Our room certainly didn’t reflect the photos on the website!

We stayed here for two nights on a private tour, we selected the hotel on reading the reviews and photographs, plus it's closeness to the Merida central area.
We arrived after a very busy day, coming from Cancun. I felt sorry for the fellow who took our bags up to the third floor as there is not an elevator, but he was so happy to help.
The central area of the hotel is lovely, the pool area though inviting we didn't have time to enjoy it.
Our room, well it was clean the air con worked brilliantly plus having a ceiling fan kept the room comfortable.
The bed was a double, I wished we'd looked at a bigger room, as we have a Kong's size at home, plus the hotels we had been in before Merida had large beds. The bathroom well it certainly wasn't like the ones in the promotional photos! Hot water was scarce in the mornings.
That said breakfast was good, the staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a fabulous spot.
It was our first visit to not only Merida but to Mexico, everyone we met during our stay was so friendly, we can't wait to go back one day.

Once past the unprepossessing exterior, you are welcomed into a courtyard garden with a fountain, that leads onto the hotel reception and rooms. Although the property is on a main road it is totally quiet inside. Our rooms were a reasonable size (in fact one was very large with a very high ceiling) and had all the facilities we needed. There is a small pool with loungers and chairs but space is limited. There is a patio area for breakfast and the waiters were absolutely charming - very kind and helpful. We ate in the hotel one night and were very happy with our meal and surroundings. The hotel is not far from the main square which is very busy but by walking a bit further there are smaller squares and more restaurants to try. M?rida was the perfect choice of location as a base for getting to Uxmal and Celestun and this hotel was a perfect choice for us based on its design, ambience and welcoming and helpful staff.

The hotel was very nice, with a beautiful inside patio, and a swimming pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable, even if not huge. The personnel was extremely kind, which made our whole experience so so nice. They also have a list of the events happening in Merida at night, so it was great to enjoy the local life. We liked it a lot there.

The location was convenient to walk to many restaurants, museums, parks, and the Centro Historico. A quiet, tranquil spot after a day of sightseeing. Staff addressed us by name and were very helpful, even scheduled a chiropractic appointment for my husband when he encountered difficulty.

This is a great place to stay in central M?rida. The rooms are historic and it is quaint and safe with staff that are cheerful, friendly and speak English well. It is blocks to the central plaza yet quiet and tranquil. There are several good restaurants and a great coffeehouse nearby yet they serve breakfast and dinner. The pool is shaded and refreshing, surrounded by hammocks chairs and a table with great WiFi. You'll feel comfortable with this place as your base of operations from which to explore amazing welcoming M?rida.
