  • Walk in the footsteps of the famous creatives, heralded luminaries, and influential dignitaries who have previously roamed the hallowed halls of Le Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris. Upon its opening in 1928, the hotel quickly became a hot spot for the jet-setting rich and famous. In its early years, star-studded clientele included the likes of Walt Disney, Josephine Baker, King Farouk of Egypt, and Winston Churchill, while more recent glitterati guests have included celebrities like Ray Charles (there is even a suite named after the renowned musician, complete with its very own grand piano), Michael Jackson, Robert de Niro, Sofia Coppola, and Madonna. In 1948, it even played host to the signing of the birth certificate of the State of Israel.

  • Luxuriate in the unmatched French hospitality that can only be enjoyed with a stay at one of the country's grand "Palace" hotels. Created in November 2010 by the French Minister of Tourism, the highly coveted "Distinction Palace" is given only to France's luxury hotels that go beyond the typical five-star experience and help elevate the country's image on the global stage, boasting features like an exceptional location, remarkable design and/or history, must-visit restaurants, and bespoke service. Earning the prestigious designation in 2013, Le Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris is in rare company as one of around only 30 "Palace" hotels in Paris.

  • Be inspired by the hotel's creative energy. At Le Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris, luxurious does not mean buttoned-up and stuffy. Rather, it is vibrant, effortlessly chic, and glamorous with just a splash of edginess, all envisioned by famed French designer Philippe Starck. To wit, during its reimagining in 2008, the designer even hosted a Demolition Party which can only be described as legendary. There, partygoers decked out in workmen's suits and hard hats took to the walls and fixtures with mallets, ushering in a new era of luxury in truly post-modern fashion. Today, Le Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris is home to its very own art gallery and contemporary art bookshop, as well as a private art collection that is more than 300 works strong.
