  • Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel

    Brought my mom here for a spa experience. A spa day and lunch at the Oasis is first class all the way. Would highly recommend. Had room service for breakfast both days. Prompt, friendly service and good food. The room was small and the bathroom tight, but we managed. First class linens and amenities. Hotel staff super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

    First class all the way! Accommodations are fantastic. Our day at the spa and lunch at the Oasis are unbeatable. The staff throughout this resort are wonderful. Christmas time in Hershey is magical although it's magical all year long.

  • Disappointing Anniversary Trip

    We came to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. This is our fourth trip to this hotel. We typically have an amazing experience. We arrived around 3pm Friday night and was told our room was not ready. Completely fine as check in is after 4pm. Came to our room (222) and were immediately disappointed. We booked the same type of room we had last year (king) but this room was extremely small and right across the hall from the elevator. The amount of traffic and noise in the hallway is overwhelming. We came for our 10th wedding anniversary trip to enjoy some quiet time together while our toddler is at home with our parents. We asked to be moved to a quieter room but no rooms were available. With that being said, we typically come the weekend before Thanksgiving, not the weekend after. It's extremely crowded this weekend. We know better than to come this weekend again if we're looking for a quiet getaway. We are looking forward to our dinner tonight at the Circular, which is always an amazing experience. And we love ordering room service for breakfast which was also great as usual this morning!

  • Beautiful Historic Resort, Some Staff Could Benefit From A Little Polish

    I was driving across country from Oregon to New Jersey. When I saw how close I would be to Hershey, I had to divert. I have always wanted to visit and have never taken the time. I was only able to spend one night but I rented a deluxe King Suite. It was absolutely gorgeous. The hotel itself puts me in mind of the Ritz Carlton in St Louis, though the staff doesn't quite have the same polish. When I pulled up to check in I wasn't welcomed by the valet, I felt like I was grilled and she demanded that I leave my keys. She was very rude. I wasn't going to be deterred, I was at the historic Hotel Hershey! The desk clerk was delightful, though I feel like the check in process was very scripted and not personal or personalized. She was helpful in answering my questions. I checked in around 10pm so most everything was closed. I put my belongings in my room and headed to Iberian bar. I was told I could order food there. There were no vegan meal choices though the waitress said she would bring me a room service menu. I'm thinking wonderful...until she told me I would not be able to receive a room service order in the bar/restaurant. The lack of service was disappointing. I had breakfast in the restaurant. It was so sunny and pretty. My server was delightful and made some suggestions for breakfast that turned out to be spot on. While I was eating, a waitress came by and took the placemat, plate, silver and glass from my table and gave it to the table next to me. She then came back again to take another set. I stopped her and asked her why she was interrupting my dining experience, my table is not a staging area. She rudely stated that she was just trying to help the next table out. I told her she was being rude and asked to speak to a manager. The manager apologized. I mentioned this to the front desk clerk upon checkout and she removed my breakfast from my bill. She stated that some of the servers lacked knowledge of customer service. The valet that brought me my car was as sweet as he could be and also offered my a bottle of water for my drive. This was thoughtful and appreciated. When I spend $300 for a night at a hotel, I expect exceptional service. I'm not sure I would stay at the Hotel Hershey in the future.

  • A luxurious hotel that lacks attention to detail

    We checked out of room 921 this am. The room was nice- super comfy bed and reliable internet BUT the bathroom was less than ideal. I used 2 of the 4 bath towels and found holes in each of them. When you stay at a "nice" hotel, you do not expect holes in your towels.
