This spectacular destination has hosted many international celebrities over the years, including Clark Gable, Aga Khan, and the French author Collette. Andy Warhol was perhaps the hotel’s most frequent visitor, having stopped by regularly throughout the 1940s and 1950s.
• Admire the hotel’s grand historical prestige. Le Richemond was first established by Adolphe-Rodolphe Armleder, an aspiring hotelier who had a left his family’s prosperous copper business. Armleder’s descendants still operate Le Richemond to this very day.
