Created by a collection of some of the time’s most influential businesspeople, including Harvey Firestone Jr. of the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company and Richard Reynolds of the Reynolds Metal Company, Half Moon has been a fixture of Jamaica’s picturesque North Coast since 1954. Upon its opening, the Montego Bay resort earned a reputation for offering an elegant escape with gracious hospitality, resulting in a steady stream of illustrious guests, including movie stars, European royalty, and U.S. Presidents.
