Taste the bounty of the Inner Sogn at Walaker Hotell, which serves Norwegian dishes crafted with homegrown ingredients.

Located right in the heart of one of the world’s largest natural pantries, the Walaker Hotell is spoiled for choice when it comes to fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Fortunately, guests can enjoy it all at the Walaker Hotell restaurant. The hotel’s onsite eatery is open daily for breakfast and dinner. In the mornings, guests can greet the day with home-baked bread, jam made with fruit from the hotel’s garden, and raspberry nectar and apple juice pressed by a small-batch producer in the village. The Walaker Hotell’s evening dinner is also steeped in tradition. Served daily at 7:30 PM, the four-course feast features a set menu highlighting the day’s bounty from Inner Sogn, including freshly delivered ingredients like langoustines fished from the Lustrafjord, mountain venison, brown and white goat cheese from an area farm, and more. The house sommelier also provides wine recommendations. Afterward, diners can visit the Walaker 300 art gallery for a tour.

Please note that while breakfast is included with every hotel stay, dinner is at an additional cost. Dinner reservations are also highly recommended from June to August, the hotel’s peak travel season.
